Purpose/Mission
CCCS is a non-profit community service organization and a member of the National Foundation for Consumer Credit. Our purpose is to offer assistance through educational workshops regarding budget planning and money management and assist families and individuals who are experiencing financial difficulties in planned debt liquidation through counseling.
CCCS is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children
Money Management
CCCS can offer objective insights on a consumer’s situation. A counselor can help with developing a plan of action that ensures the timely payment of bills.
Under certain circumstances, a debt management program may be an option. Through this program, CCCS will work with a consumer’s creditors to set up a payment plan that is acceptable to their creditors and help the consumer to develop a budget that is livable, realistic, and within their income. There are some fees associated with the debt management program.
CCCS does not take over the paying of bills, but will assist a consumer with the development of an action plan that will help to keep them on track with their financial obligations.
