Mission/Purpose
We enable older adults to live active and independent lives. We believe that active and independent aging is based on the values of self-determination, service to others, and lifelong personal growth.

Services
The Meals on Wheels program generally is available to those of all ages who are primarily homebound, unable to shop for groceries and prepare meals, and lack consistent help in the home. There are no income requirements.

Dedicated volunteers deliver meals to your door five days a week, Monday through Friday (holidays excluded). Delivery can be expected between 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.

Frozen Meals for evening, weekend and holiday use are also available for delivery.

Cost
For those who can pay, the cost is $3.50 for a hot meal and $3 for a frozen meal. Statements are mailed to participants or their representative at the end of each month. We accept checks, credit cards and the Kansas Vision card (food stamp voucher). Available financial assistance means that no eligible person will be denied Meals on Wheels because of an inability to pay.
