Purpose/Mission
The Salina Area Volunteer Caregivers Program recruits and supports a cadre of volunteers who provide assistance and support to individuals whose circumstances leave them with unmet social, mental and physical needs.

Services
Volunteer Caregivers are referred to individuals of all ages whose needs cannot be met by local social service agencies. Services provided by Volunteer Caregivers may include, but are not limited to: companionship, chore services, transportation, telephone reassurance, shopping assistance, minor home repair and maintenance, yard work, language interpretation, letter writing, assistance with financial affairs, completing forms, etc.
