You can quickly reheat the meals at home in your own kitchen. In minutes, you’ve got a convenient, tasty, and well-balanced meal — with nothing to prepare and no dishes to clean!
Who can get frozen meals?
Anyone who wants! There are no age restrictions or income guidelines. If you eat, then you can get frozen meals at the Salina Senior Center.
What kind of meals are available?
Frozen meals are the very same menu items that are delivered by
Meals On Wheels
and served at the Salina Senior Center
(check out the menu for the current month).
Each meal comes with an entrée and two side dishes, sealed in a special container that can be reheated in a microwave or conventional oven. Regular and diabetic meals available.
What do the meals cost?
Frozen meals cost $2.75 per meal.
How do I order frozen meals?
Call the Meals On Wheels office at 785-823-7555 to order frozen meals. Make your selection from the available entrees — changes daily! Staff will prepare your meals to be picked up between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. the next working day.
