Yard Work and Chore Services

At the current time, there are no programs in Salina that offer yard work or chore services at a reduced fee for seniors or persons with disabilities. However, there are individuals and small businesses that you can hire to help with yard work or minor home repairs and maintenance.

If you need help taking care of your house or yard, you may want to request one or more of our local provider lists (see below). The lists provide contact information for individuals and businesses that offer their services for hire in Salina, Kansas.

These lists are provided as a convenience to help you find and hire the help you need.

We check references on providers before adding them to the list, and we drop providers from the list if we receive a report of poor service. However, we are not responsible for the work of any listed provider, and any financial or contractual arrangements are strictly between you and the person you hire.

It is your responsibility to:

  1. Check their references to your own satisfaction

  2. Come to an agreement with them regarding services or work to be provided

  3. Come to an agreement with them regarding payment for services

If you can’t afford to pay for needed yard work or chore services, you may be able to receive limited financial assistance from the Senior Resource Fund.
